Many of our team at Printer Johnson and our shop No.19 Shop & Studio are local makers and illustrators. We invited them to submit artwork on the theme ‘seize the day’ for a special set of A2 limited-edition posters.

Alex Harvey
'Leap into the new'
Alex is a local ceramicist making functional pieces with nature inspired illustrations. Each piece is made and decorated by hand making each one totally unique.
Beverley Coraldean
'Take root & shoot for the moon'
Beverley is a local illustrator creating maximalist mash-up of real-world representations, patterns, symbols and ideas from everyday life and the inner worlds we create to escape to.
Also known for her paper goods brand Geniality Art, making elaborate prints, ornate cards & decorative paper stationery to bring joy, inspire creativity and document the world.
Jo Stafford
'Life is short, make it sweet'
Jo is a local illustrator and screen printer inspired by all sorts of ephemera, whether its quotes, lyrics and sayings or sweet wrappers, beer labels and postcards.
Jo takes inspiration from music, film, food and nature to produce my bright, bold designs, which are heavily influenced by her love of Typography and Letterpress.
Melissa Shinnie
'Carpe Diem'
Melissa is an illustrator and artist from Sydney, Australia.
Drawing inspiration from her lush surroundings on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, fine art, graphic design, good
music playlists and her two kiddos; Mel is working on her portfolio for children's book illustration, alongside nailing administration and marketing for Printer Johnson!
Meredith Adams
'Many hands make a pot'
Meredith hand builds her ceramic work, sculpting and shaping tableware and vessels from her studio in Norwich. She draws inspiration from the emotional. Love, connection, and sentiment inspire Meredith the most. She shows these intangible forms mainly through text and illustration.
Words are an important element in Meredith’s work. Ceramic work is personal, it is important to her that the viewer can relate to this emotion and subsequently rest somewhere within it. ‘They are mine but then they are yours and everyone else’s too.'
M.Forsyth
'Mick Volcano seizes the day'
Mitch, M.Forsyth or 'the shop keeper' as he has become known to us, is a local film maker, illustrator and musician. Mitch's work is 'CUNNINGLY SPECIFIC' and his drawings can often be found in unlikely places around the studio.
Phil Whitton
Phil is an Illustrator, artist, musician and animator. His work explores topics including technology, current events, politics, media, music, weird dreams, skateboarding, the internet and the paranormal.
Richard Horne
Richard is a graphic designer, illustrator, author, screen printer and gocco printer. 'Graphic design is my first love and Illustration has followed.'
Vicki Johnson
'Seize the day'
Vicki Johnson is an illustrator with a background in printmaking and textile design. Vicki makes colourful work with a nostalgic feel inspired by flora, fauna, folk art and the everyday. Vicki is also the owner of Printer Johnson.
